Chicago Cubs Welcome the Wildcats to Wrigley Field

A wave of purple washed over Wrigley Field on Tuesday, May 13, for the annual NU Day at Wrigley. Co-sponsored by the NAA, Northwestern Class Alliance, and the Center for Student Involvement, the evening featured Wildcats in the stands and on the field. WCAS Senior Katie Jakubowski received the opportunity to throw out the first pitch, after winning a contest organized by the Northwestern Class Alliance. Shortly afterward, Nik Wenzel, graduate student in the School of Music, treated fans to a stellar performance of the National Anthem. Students and young alumni cheered on Katie, Nik, and the Cubs—braving a windy, rain-soaked evening.
