NU Club of Phoenix & NAA Host Self-Branding Event

On April 24th, 2008, forty-seven alumni attended “Self-Branding and Networking: Marketing YOU, Inc.”, co-hosted by the NU Club of Phoenix and the Northwestern Alumni Association. The event featured keynote speaker Aaron Matos (KSM05), the founder and chief executive officer of Jobing.com, an online job search/career resource site that focuses on local and regional areas.

Matos discussed the importance of taking risks, how to build brands on the Internet, and the importance of networking. The event also allowed alumni to mingle, network, and learn how to stand out in today’s business world.
