Candace Cole Figa

Candy Figa (SESP73) Denver, Colorado

Candy is an attorney and a director of the law firm of Burns, Figa & Will, P.C. where she has worked since 1981. Her law practice emphasizes commercial and civil litigation including business disputes, employment law, zoning and municipal law, and representation of authors in their literary pursuits.

Active in civic affairs, Candy served on the Greenwood Village City Council from 1993-2001, acting as Mayor Pro Tem from 1999-2001. She served on the boards of the Denver Regional Council of Governments, the E-470 and Southeast Transportation Authorities and the Southeast Business Partnership. She presently serves on the board of the Curtis Arts and Humanities Council and the Regional Transportation Authority’s Public Art Committee.

Candy is a member of the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences’ Board of Visitors and the Council of One Hundred.

She earned her J.D. at the University of Denver.
